City to Put Heavy Equipment in Ciliwung River

Jakarta City Administration will hold a coordination with Depok City Administration yet Bogor Regency to put heavy equipment to transport trash in Ciliwung River.

Head of Jakarta Cleanliness Department, Isnawa Adji conveyed the placement aims to block trash from Bogor and Depok.

“We got the instruction to put such thing in the border of Depok and Bogor,” he uttered, Monday (11/30).

Adji conveyed that his side was instructed to perform location mapping in Ciliwung River to install trash filter.

“Maybe installing partition also in case of needed,” he expressed.

Furthermore, Jakarta Governor, Basuki “Ahok” T. Purnama asserted Cleanliness Department can also borrow the equipment of Water Management Department in case of needed. As concerning they have not yet optimize its use.

“You can use their (Water Management Dept) equipment in case of needed,” he stated.
